Our very own Positive Hypnobirthing Teacher Jo, dad Justin and hypnobirthing heart baby Evie meet The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

When Jo gave birth to Evie at St Thomas’s Hospital following an Induction, she was the star of the show, with many of the medical team coming in to watch as Jo birthed on the high risk unit using just her hypnobirthing skills to keep her calm and relaxed.

Jo, Justin and Evie have since been invited back to various events at St Thomas’s as special ambassadors for the heart unit. As well as meeting The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, little Evie has also met Comedian Jimmy Carr, Dr Ranj Singh, Inbetweeners actor Blake Harrison, Footballer Peter Crouch, Model Abby Clancy, Rugby’s James Haskell and England cricketer Monty Panasar.

Jo said “As soon as Kate came into the room Evie ran up to her and then when Kate moved on to chat to other kids Evie went over and tapped her on the back to get another cuddle.

“Evie would have had no idea who Kate was and there were hundreds of people in the room, but it was Kate who she was drawn to. She kept on handing her pencils and crayons.

“Kate’s reaction was lovely. She found it funny when Evie kept interrupting her and would just bring her in to join in the conversation.
