Here at The Positive Hypnobirthing Company we have always taken your mental, emotional and physical wellbeing seriously. It is our top priority and I want to personally reassure you of the measures we are taking.

During lockdown, we have continued to run our classes and provide one-to-one support for our clients over online platforms.

In some cases, where we had started classes before lockdown, we switched mid-way to an online live class. It worked very well for us and our clients. The same personal attention, without leaving home.

Online Classes

We will continue to offer online live classes for the foreseeable future. Do not mistake a ‘live’ class for a prerecorded class. Our live classes are just the same as our face-to-face classes, where we engage with each couple and you get a chance to participate and ask questions.

As lockdown eases and when rules allow, we know that some clients will still prefer to come to a face-to-face class.

So here is what we will be doing (when rules allow):

Jo, Becca and I are each personally committed to doing everything possible to ensure our classes provide a clean and sanitary environment.

Small Classes

You will be pleased to know that we always keep our classes small, because we know that is how our clients get the best of experiences.

Post lockdown, we will be restricting the size of our classes still further to just 2 couples per class, without any increase in price. Almost like a private class without the added cost.

This will ensure that each couple has their own sofa with much more than the minimum separation currently advised of 2 metres from each of us in the classroom. We will also employ extra sanitation precautions before and during our classes.

I also reassure you that our classes are run in our own premises, where we have full control over the cleaning and hygiene arrangements.

Exclusive Venues

We are the only people to use our class venues. Before you arrive for your class, we will clean and sanitise all surfaces, cloakrooms etc.

We will continue to provide refreshments, but only those that are individually wrapped. You are also welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

We will also give you a natural homemade hand sanitiser.

Jo, Becca and I will be regularly taking our own temperature and if we have any symptoms, we will postpone the class or switch teachers.

If you show any signs of symptoms, please let us know and we will do our best to reschedule you to a later class. If you feel well enough, you can join us online instead. Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel. However, we will understand if you have to cancel at the last minute.

At the start of your class, we will let you know about the hygiene facilities at our venue.

We always extend a warm welcome to our clients old and new, but for the time being this welcome won’t be accompanied by a handshake or a hug!

We want to help you as much as possible through your pregnancy journey, so cancelling classes is our last resort. Between the 3 of us, we hope that that won’t ever be necessary. We managed to get through lockdown without cancelling a single class. Indeed we added FREE online sessions for all of our clients, to ensure that we offered continued support.
